In 1 John 4:4 (NLT2), John said to us the church, “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
Beloved the Spirit of Christ in you, is the Champion in you, the Anointed One in you. Because the Champion, the Anointed One is in you, you are a champion, a winner, and a world overcomer. Greater is the Champion in you than those depressing spirits in the world. Greater is the Champion in you than the doubtful, fearful, and unbelieving spirits in the world. Greater is the Champion, the Anointed Onein you, than the naysayers, nasty and negative ones, and haters in the world!
In fact, this Champion in you, this Anointed One in you, the Christ in you has already defeated the devil in the wilderness, in the world, in the Garden of Gethsemane, on Calvary’s Cross, and even in death, hell, and the grave. This Champion endured allof this and rose with all power in His hand. You and I have this Champion Spirit, the Anointed One’s Spirit, this winning Spirit, this overcoming and victorious Spirit living on the inside of us!
Yes, there is a champion in you! There is a champion in me! His Spirit lives in me, His anointing lives on the inside of me. Perhaps Paul said it best in Galatians 2:20 (KJV) when he said, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.”
Confession: Lord, I thank you that there is a champion in me, because Christ, the Anointed One lives in me. Therefore, I am a Champion, I am a winner! I am a world overcomer!
